A Truly Beautiful Italian City
Parma is a wonderful city, so elegant and easy to walk around. The architecture is stunning, especially in the Piazza Duomo with the Cathedral and Baptistery. Everything feels clean and safe. A perfect place for a relaxed city trip.

Such a rich cultural experience. The Palazzo della Pilotta complex is incredible, and the Teatro Farnese, built entirely of wood, is just breathtaking. You can feel the history everywhere you look. It's so compact, you can see all the main sites in a couple of days.

A great city to just slow down and enjoy. We loved walking through Parco Ducale and just watching the world go by. People are friendly and the pace is unhurried. The cafes are perfect for sitting outside with a coffee. A very pleasant escape.

Parma is a food lover's dream, but it's so much more. The quality of the local products, like the Prosciutto di Parma, is unbelievable. We ate so well everywhere, from simple trattorias to fancy restaurants. The city itself is just as impressive as its food.
Elegant and Very Walkable
Such a stylish city with fantastic shopping. Walking down Via Cavour was great for window shopping, with a mix of big brands and small boutiques. It's lovely how the beautiful old buildings house modern shops. The whole center is well-kept and a joy to explore on foot.
Authentic Local Feel
We really enjoyed exploring the Oltretorrente neighborhood across the river. It felt less crowded and more like where the locals live. The small restaurants and shops there have a special quality. The people were very welcoming and patient with our basic Italian.
